November/ December 2025 Update: MPC Approved! + Games Getting Ready to Leave the Factory + PAXU Recap + Class Build Examples + More!

Hello Terrarians! 🌳 

We've got some very exciting news...

🎉 MPCs (Manufacturer Production Copies) Approved!

We are very, very happy to report that Gameland managed to get updated MPCs to us quicker than anticipated, and after a thorough review at the end of last week, they have been fully approved! 🤩 That means it’s full steam ahead with packing, shipping and fulfilment.

🚚 What Happens Next?

Games are currently being packed and divided into shipments that will travel to fulfilment hubs across the world. Once these splits are complete, each batch will be transported by lorry to the sea port and loaded onto cargo ships destined for each region. The only exception here is games for backers in Asia – these will be transported overground to fulfilment hubs, rather than by sea.

📍 As soon as each ship leaves port, we’ll share the vessel name and tracking information for every region.

While the games are in transit, we’ll be finalising fulfilment data and sending everything to our fulfilment partners so they can dispatch your copies as efficiently as possible once stock arrives.

📦 Carton Customisation

One perk of pre-packaging everything is the ability to customise the outer cartons. Within the limitations of black ink on brown cardboard, we’ve given each carton a little extra personality!

⏰ Timeline

Our estimated timeline remains unchanged from the previous update. With the holiday season approaching and international shipping lanes growing more congested, it’s still difficult to predict exact arrival dates for each region, but getting the MPC earlier than expected means that games will be leaving the factory a couple of weeks earlier than anticipated - hooray! 😃

There is a possibility that some backers in Asia may receive their pledges before the end of the year, but backers in most regions can expect to receive their games in early 2026.

❗ Tax IDs for Backers in Mexico

Thank you to backers in Mexico who have responded to our email requesting personal Tax ID (RFC) numbers. There are still quite a few who haven’t responded; if you are a backer in Mexico please check your emails for a link to a form where you can submit this information. The email subject is ‘Provide Your RFC Number for Terraria: The Board Game’.

We won’t be able to send your pledge until we have received this information, as there will be a high likelihood it will be returned.

If you can’t find the email with the link, please contact us ASAP at hello@paperfortgames.com and we’ll send it to you.

If you have already submitted this information, you don’t need to do so again.

⚔️ Class Build Examples

Recently, a backer asked if we could share examples of different class builds (equipment, armor, consumable and action card combinations that would allow you to lean into a certain playstyle) We thought it was a great idea (thanks Pate!); you can find some simple examples below!

🎫 PAX Unplugged Recap

Matt and Chris recently returned from PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia, PA – it was a tiring but fantastic trip and a wonderful chance to meet backers and show the game. They managed to fit everything for the booth into their luggage; Terraria just fits into carry-on dimensions with some room leftover for spare socks! Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand; we never get tired of meeting Terrarians and witnessing people's excitement at seeing the game in person; especially the transparent armor cards, modular bosses and world playmat!
